Privacy

Your image stays on your device.

PicMason processes selected image files in your browser. It does not upload the image or keep a cloud copy.

Last updated October 13, 2026. Applies to picmason.com.

What the tool uses

The page reads the file you select or drop onto the tool. It checks the image format and dimensions, decodes the image, creates a preview, and generates the requested tiles. Temporary image data and export files are held in the page’s memory while you work.

The original file is not modified. A source filename may be used locally to name your export. The app does not transmit that name, your image contents, or a local file path to a server.

Temporary data and downloads

Clear the image, replace it, or close the page to release its temporary image and result resources. The app does not store image data in cookies, local storage, or a browser database. Your browser controls memory reclamation.

Files you choose to download remain wherever your browser or operating system saves them. Clearing PicMason does not delete those downloaded files or the original image.

Page requests

The browser requests the app’s pages, scripts, styles, and any sample image you open. These requests are separate from the image you select for splitting. PicMason has no advertising, payment service, analytics tracker, or account login.

Vercel hosts the website. Cloudflare provides domain registration and DNS services. If its proxy is enabled, page requests also pass through Cloudflare. The services handling a request may process connection and request information, such as an IP address, browser headers, the requested URL, and the time of the request, to deliver, troubleshoot, and protect the website. Local image processing does not remove this routine website traffic.

Provider processing and retention depend on their services and settings. Read the Vercel Privacy Notice and Cloudflare Privacy Policy for their details. The image splitter does not send your selected image, its contents, its filename, or your export files to either provider.

Feedback and other websites

If you email PicMason Technical Support, your sender address, message, and any attachments you choose to send are processed by Cloudflare Email Routing and our support mailbox provider, Google. We use that information to review and respond to your request. Sending an email is separate from using the splitter; the tool does not automatically attach or send your image.

Include only the details needed to explain a problem. Do not send private photos, identity documents, or other sensitive image content. Provider privacy information is available in the Cloudflare policy linked above and the Google Privacy Policy.

Following an external link takes you to a separate service with its own privacy practices.

Questions or a reproducible problem

See the contact page. Do not send private images to report a problem; a small, non-sensitive sample and the visible error are usually enough.
