About PicMason

One image. A clear set of pieces.

PicMason helps you divide an existing image into a grid or strips, inspect each piece, and export an orderly set of files.

Built around a small, complete task

Choose a local JPEG, PNG, or WebP image. Set the rows and columns, inspect the boundaries and dimensions, then save PNG, JPEG or WebP tiles individually or together in a ZIP. When a source dimension does not divide evenly, the tiles keep the remaining edge pixels.

The splitter handles one static image at a time, up to 100 pieces. It does not crop everything into squares, split animations, publish to social accounts, or prepare overlapping print sheets. Input size limits appear in the tool before you select a file.

Make the output understandable

Numbered previews, row and column filenames, and a size list make the connection between the original image and the exported tiles visible. The guides use small, reproducible samples to explain boundaries, transparency, and order.

Your file stays in your browser

Image processing happens on your device. PicMason has no file upload endpoint, account system, or cloud image library. Read the privacy details for what the page handles and what your browser saves.

PicMason is available at picmason.com. Image splitting is the first tool. We will add related image tasks only when they can be explained clearly and completed reliably. See the contact page to report a problem or suggest a useful next task.
